Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. Although we do not do therapy as a part of this practice, we will refer to the best available psychologist or therapist near you for additional treatment.

Initial Evaluation

An initial evaluation consisting of a face-to-face (virtual) interview will be scheduled for 45 to 60 minutes. This interview will be conducted by a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. This evaluation will be finding the best treatment plan for you. In many cases, a combined approach involving both medication and psychotherapy produces the best results.

Medication Management Follow Up

Follow-up appointments are shorter in duration (15 to 30 minutes). The practitioner may make medication adjustments, review potential medication interactions, consider the impact of other medical disorders on the client’s mental and emotional functioning, and counsel clients regarding changes they might make to facilitate healing of symptoms.
